I’ve told you in my Showtime Review that the thing I like the most about this newest noontime show is its theme song. It’s so uplifting and real, unlike the Wowowee or Eat Bulaga songs.
The Wowowee and Eat Bulaga songs sounds so commercially made. The Showtime theme song makes you feel you are just listening to your favorite alternative band and not from a TV show.
However, it is only now that I have found the music video of this Showtime theme song. I have been praying that someone would record and upload this video since the day I’ve watched the first episode of Showtime.
So, without further ado, this is the down-to-earth, sincere theme song of Showtime:

Ang galing naman ng SHOWTIME!! nakakaaliw…sobra…nakakawala ng problema, saludo kami sa mga host lalung-lalo na si VICE GANDA. Inaabangan namin ng mga anak ko ang showtime dito sa Abu Dhabi, UAE at talaga namang gumigising pa kami ng maaga para lang di namin mamiss ang Showtime. Sana tumagal pa kayo. Vice grabe ibang klase ka, ikaw ang bagong breed ng mga kabayo…hahaha iba talalga ang ginawa nilang pagcloclone sayo, joke lang po, Love you Vice sana magshow ka dito sa UAE. love you!! I think “Showtime” din ang title nya kasi it’s an original song created for only for the show.
